Today was the first day of good weather we've had all year.
It felt almost warm as the bright winter sun drenched Essex Road on my walk to nursery with my daughter. After literally months of nothing but drizzle and grey, I finally actually enjoyed the journey to nursery. The drudgery of a morning 'must' turned into an uplifting start to the day.
Meanwhile, on X, something very strange was happening. Usually my 'For You' feed is awash with polarisation and politics, negativity and nonsense. But for some reason it seemed "Londonmaxxing" was taking over.

Literally hundreds of posts had nothing but good things to say about London's tech scene and the energy coursing through it after a couple of big AI companies opened offices here.
Let's hope that the algorithmic boost wasn't just a short-lived fizzle but translates into people actually building great shit here. I love this city and I'm sick to the back teeth of people (especially people who aren't here) whinging about it.
Let's get to it.
